Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of davidleechef.com. By using the site, you agree to them. “I” and “me” means David Lee.
My views and the information on this site
The articles, videos and commentary on this site are my own opinions, based on more than 40 years in kitchens and running my own businesses. They’re general information, not financial, legal, tax or other professional advice for your situation. Before making a decision about your business, check the current rules with the relevant authority or get advice from a qualified adviser.
I try to keep figures and facts accurate and link to the sources, but laws, rates and prices change. Check the date on each article.
Recipes
You’re welcome to cook from my recipes at home. Please check ingredients for allergies and dietary needs, and follow safe food handling. Cooking times and results vary with equipment and produce.
Copyright
The writing, photos, recipes and videos on this site belong to me unless I say otherwise. You can share a link or quote a short passage with credit to me and a link back. Please ask before republishing anything in full or using my photos.
Speaking, consulting and private chef services
Enquiries through this site aren’t bookings. Any speaking, media, consulting or private chef work is agreed separately, in writing, with its own terms.
Links to other sites
I link to news outlets, government sources and my businesses’ sites. I’m not responsible for the content of sites I don’t run.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded.
Privacy
How I handle your personal information is set out in my privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Changes
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
