South Coast Wedding. Ocean Farm, Gerringong

A Seaside Celebration — Laura & Josh at Ocean Farm, Gerringong
Some weddings feel like a breath of fresh air—Laura & Josh’s coastal celebration at Ocean Farm in Gerringong was just that. Set against sweeping ocean views and rolling green hills, this intimate Tuesday afternoon wedding was a perfect blend of relaxed elegance, indulgent dining, and effortless style.
Grazing table
With just 12 guests and 3 children, the day was beautifully personal. As the waves rolled in below, guests were greeted with handcrafted canapés—delicate zucchini flowers, fresh kingfish, grilled scallops, and blinis topped with crème fraîche, smoked salmon and roe. For the bridal party still getting ready, we prepared a platter of pre-ceremony bites so no one missed out on the start of the celebration.
Oyster and prawn station
Following a heartfelt ceremony overlooking the sea, guests gathered for a decadent antipasto grazing table and seafood bar, styled to perfection. Plump oysters and prawns were served alongside artisan cheeses, cured meats, seasonal fruits, and local accompaniments. It was a luxurious pause before the next wave of flavour.
David 4 tier Wedding cake glazed with fresh Italian meringue
As the sun began to lower, we brought out the second round of canapés: crisp Croquette Monsieurs, wagyu sliders, spiced chicken sliders, and bite-sized pork banh mi—each one crafted to bring bold, comforting flavours to this elegant yet casual affair. The children were well looked after, too, with fruit platters and their own menu of chicken nuggets and chips.
Wagyu sliders
To end, Laura & Josh cut into a stunning two-tier semi-naked cake with Italian meringue and fresh berries, served atop a timber cake stump brought in by the couple’s styling team. As the final glasses were clinked and the light turned golden, it was clear this wedding wasn’t just a day—it was an experience.
From paddock to plate and sea to sky, we were honoured to bring Laura & Josh’s vision to life.
